The entire cast of THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS, the new smash hit musical by Dorothy Marcic, is set to perform at today's Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) benefit honoring the star of THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS, Jana Robbins.

The gala luncheon celebration will be hosted by Bistro Award winner Klea Blackhurst, with performances by Tony nominee Bob Cuccioli, eight-time MAC Award winner Tracy Stark, four-time MAC and two-time Bistro Award winner Julie Reyburn and the "crown prince of New York cabaret" MAC Award winner Steve Ross. Theater luminaries who are supporting the event include Michael Alden, Daniel Beaty, Martin Charnin, R. Erin Craig, Dani Davis, Michele Lee, Eric Krebs, Daryl Roth, Catherine Schreiber, D Tucker Smith and Frank Zuback.

"25 Years of TRU Love: Creating Community Through the Arts" will honor TRU Spirit of Theater Award recipient, Jana Robbins, producer (LITTLE WOMEN, RAGTIME revival, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE) and Broadway actress (GYPSY with Tyne Daly, THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE).

Also featured in THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS are Traci Bair (CIRQUE DREAMS, PANDORA'S BOX), Aneesa Folds (RAGTIME, SISTAS) and Haley Swindal (JEKYLL & HYDE, WHITE CHRISTMAS).

THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS isn't just for the girls! This "fabulous, heart stopping" new musical (Times Square Chronicles) looks at the role of women over the past 100+ years through iconic popular song hits. From the sad laments of fragile female victims ("A Bird in a Gilded Cage") to the angry anthems of women who are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore ("I Am Woman" and "You Don't Own Me"), THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS is an electrifying celebration of American women that's certain to thrill men, women and everything in between!

THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS plays Fridays at 8 pm and Saturdays at 2 pm at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46 Street (just west of Eighth Ave.) Tickets are available through www.FortheGirlstheMusical.com or by calling 212-239-6200.
