Award-winning vocalist joins pianist Sean Gough in new collaboration (New York) Award-winning vocalist Celia Berk returns to Birdland Theater on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 7pm. COMES LOVE is her new collaboration with pianist Sean Gough.

Eric Yves Garcia had a great pianist to accompany his singing last night at the Pelican Cafe…..Mr. Garcia himself was on the keys! There is nothing musically more satisfying than the experience of hearing an eloquent and serious pianist creating the arrangements that envelope his vocals. The piano harmonies always integrate more effectively and accurately when the voice and the fingers combine. It's a great club that Mr. Garcia belongs to, Nat King Cole, Buddy Greco, Diana Krall, Bobby Short, BIlly Stritch, Tony DeSare and others. An added treat for last night's patrons was having Avery Sommers and local celebrity Rob Russell in the audience and Mr. Garcia also played effectively for them.

Rubicon Theatre Company announces two performances of an intimate concert featuring Golden Globe Award-Winner and Grammy nominee Amanda McBroom, presented as part of the 2018-2019 Janet and Mark L. Goldenson Broadway Concert Series. Amanda McBroom, a Rubicon favorite both as a singer and actress, returns to Rubicon with a concert version of her hit play Lady Macbeth Sings the Blues on Saturday June 8 at 8p.m. and Sunday June 9 at 2 p.m.

Skylight Theatre Company (Producing Artistic Director, Gary Grossman and Co-Artistic Director Tony Abatemarco) announced today the world premiere of BRONCO BILLY - THE MUSICAL, It marks the organization's first world premiere musical production. The new musical, based on the Warner Bros. film Bronco Billy, features a book by Dennis Hackin, lyrics and music by Chip Rosenbloom and John Torres, with additional lyrics by Michele Brourman. Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Musical Director, Michele Brourman, has been nominated for the Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC) award in the category of major recording for 'The Price of Love' project. Brourman and fellow nominees, Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales ('The Ginger Snapped') and Marissa Mulder ('Two Tickets Left') will find out their fate when the envelopes are opened live at the 33rd Annual MAC Awards on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:00 pm at Sony Hall in New York City.
