Centenary Stage Company launches 2018 with an exciting line up of jazz events through the month of January with the annual January Thaw Music Festival in the Lackland Performing Arts Center. This year's festival features Freda Payne in a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald on Sunday, January 14 at 2pm, Danny Bacher in Swing that Music! A Jazz Tribute to the Three Louis on Sunday, January 21 at 2pm and the Brazilian Bluegrass of Matuto on Saturday, January 27 at 8 pm.

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana is pleased to present its eighth annual Flamenco in the Boros tour, a series of free performances in neighborhoods across New York City. Navidad Flamenca draws inspiration from the rich holiday customs of the Spanish-speaking world from Argentina and Mexico to Colombia, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. Through music, carols, and dance, this lively program highlights holiday traditions and reflects the influences of Hispanic culture throughout the Americas. Performances are December 3 9, and are free and open to the public.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) and the Santa Rosa Symphony announced the rescheduled performance date for What a Wonderful World: A Tribute to Louis Armstrong as Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3 p.m. The 2017 2018 Symphony Pops series will now kick-off with A Holly Jolly Pops on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3 p.m. Tickets for the concert originally scheduled on October 22, 2017 of What a Wonderful World will be honored at the rescheduled performance. New single tickets ($37 $80) will be available for purchase on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 12 p.m. by calling 707-546-3600, online at lutherburbankcenter.org, or at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts ticket office (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa).
