America's Musical Journey, the new 3D documentary for IMAX and giant screen theaters,will hold itsworldpremieres on Thursday, February 15, at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museumand Friday, February 16, at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.The movie will open globally this Friday, February 16, in select IMAXand giant screen theatres with a roll out expansion planned throughout the year through the Fall of 2018 and beyond.This is the second film that MacGillivray Freeman Films has produced in association with Brand USA and Expedia as the presenting partners.America's Musical Journey marks Air Canada's first time as a presenting sponsor. Dan Levinson and his all-star band celebrate the music of those early days of jazz at the Bickford Theatre for one night only on Monday, February 26th at 7:30 pm.  Entitled Dan Levinson's Jazz 101: The Trailblazers of America's Original Art Form, the concert features the music of King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, the Original Dixieland Jazz Band, Jelly Roll Morton, The New Orleans Rhythm Kings, Clarence Williams, Eddie Condon, Duke Ellington and more.

Carnegie Hall today announced that world-renowned jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves and critically-acclaimed trombonist Wycliffe Gordonwill join NYO Jazz as special guest artists for the ensemble's Carnegie Hall debut on July 27, 2018. Following its New York concert, NYO Jazz will embark on its first-ever tour to Europe, which includes performances in The Netherlands, Germany, and Great Britain, July 30 - August 10, 2018. Dianne Reeves will also be featured as a guest artist on NYO Jazz's European tour.

MacGillivray Freeman Films today announced that Academy Award-winning actor, Morgan Freeman, will narrate America's Musical Journey,the company's newest 3D documentary for IMAX and giant screen theatres. America's Musical Journey, produced in association with Brand USA and presented by Expedia, will be opening in select museums and institutions beginning February 16 th. The film celebrates the rich cultural diversity of America as seen through the story of its music.

The Historic Ali Cultural Arts (www.aliarts.org) in Pompano Beach is proud to celebrate Black History Month with an art exhibition by Nigerian artist, Adewale Adenle. Beans, Rice & Gumbo: Facts, Fictions and Frictions of Black History narrates the history of blacks from the pre-slavery era through the present day. The exhibition runs from February 1, 2018 through March 29, 2018.
