On Today, November 9, at 9:30 p.m. at The Green Room 42, 570 10th Ave, 4th Floor inside YOTEL,New York, NY 10036, youthful stars of stage and screen are coming together again for the second annual benefit concert for Covenant House New York, #WeHaveAVoice2. #WeHaveAVoice2 will be an energized night of songs, including pop, rock, r & b, oldies, original pieces, and more, but without show tunes or jazz hands. Start off the holidays on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:00 PM, at the Birdland Theater, 315 West 44th, NY with  Steven Brinberg in the latest edition of Simply Barbra, his acclaimed all-live homage to the legendary Barbra Streisand. This new show Merry Hanukkah/Happy Christmas Show celebrates the upcoming Holidays as well as a celebration of various hits.  Musical Director is Christopher Denny and there will be a guest tba.  The cover charge is $30. There is a $10 minimum. For tickets, please visit www.BirdlandJazz.com. 

Coming to The Green Room 42, the hilarious, manic, and heartwarming musical spoof, Gutenberg! The Musical! An overwhelmingly enthusiastic pair of aspiring playwrights perform a backers' audition for their new project: a big, splashy musical about printing press inventor, Johann Gutenberg. Writers Bud and Doug sing all the songs and play all the parts in their crass historical epic, with the hope that one of the producers in attendance will give them a Broadway contract; fulfilling their ill-advised, yet hearteningly sincere dreams.

Obie, Emmy, and Tony winner Lillias White and Marvel and DC television regular Danny Johnson (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Gotham) will lead two industry readings of Douglas Lyons's new family comedy Chicken and Biscuits. Directed by Zhailon Levingston, the full cast includes C. Kelly Wright, Inga Ballard (Ragtime Tour), Akira Golz (Matilda), Doug Goldring, Josh Adam Ramos, and Lauren F. Walker (Charm).

Irvine Barclay Theatre was recently informed that Bebe Neuwirth is withdrawing from her concert engagement at Irvine Barclay Theatre on March 16th. Scheduling conflicts will preclude her from being able to perform at the Barclay as planned. In her stead, the Barclay is announcing a performance on the same date, March 16, 2019 at 8pm, of 4 GIRLS 4 featuring four legendary Broadway singers and actresses.

Artists Series Concerts of Sarasota welcomes back acclaimed singers, songwriters and entertainers Will and Anthony Nunziata, performing "Soundtrack: The Music of Our Lives," a program created especially for Artist Series Concerts, on Sunday, December 2, 4:00 p.m., at the Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Marieann Meringolo brings her critically acclaimed show, 'Between Yesterday and Tomorrow : The Songs of Alan & Marilyn Bergman' to New York's lower east side music room, 'Pangea,' for One Show Only today, October, 27th, 2018. Time: 7:00 p.m.

Kelli Rabke, who was the 'Narrator' in Broadway's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 'Eponine' in Les Miserables on Broadway, and 'Yonah' in the American Premiere of Stephen Schwartz's Children of Eden , makes her Green Room 42 debut in Feels Like Home. A deeply personal show, it traces her journey from stage to motherhood and back again, sprinkled with a healthy dose of humor and honesty. Featuring music from both the worlds of musical theatre and pop, it has everything from Laura Nyro to Sara Bareilles, from Working to Wicked, also including the iconic songs that were highlights in her career. The starry lineup is set for the fourth concert in the new Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On November 26 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Unplugged: Sara Bareilles, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the singer-songwriter's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.

Old Mill Road Recording (www.OldMillRoadRecording.com), a new state-of-the-art destination recording studio, opens its doors at 316 Old Mill Road in East Arlington, Vermont on November 2nd, and is available to musicians worldwide who want to record and publish their music. In-house Grammy® Award winning engineer, Benjamin J. Arrindell has 30+ years of experience recording and mixing for notable artists such as Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Mary J. Blige, Yolanda Adams, Janet Jackson and Busta Rhymes, to name a few. Tony Award-winners Lillias White & Cady Huffman will join twin brother singer-songwriters Will & Anthony Nunziata in concert on Sat. Nov. 17 at 7pm at The Green Room 42 to celebrate the release of their new Adult Contemporary album Love Always (released 11/16).

An industry concert reading of Dear Prospective Student will be held today, October 23rd at 7 PM at The Green Room 42 on the 4th floor of Yotel NYC. Dear Prospective Student is a new musical with book by Caryn Robbins, and Music & Lyrics by Michael Hicks.

HIV Experience Resources Organization (HERO)is proud to present The Fifth Annual Broadway & Ballet HERO Awards on October 22nd at 8pm at Stage 48, 605 West 48th Street, honoring Tony, Emmy, Drama Desk and People's Choice Award winner Lillias White, Housing Works/HIV Law Project,and break-out star from Head Over Heels,Bonnie Milliganfor Outstanding Broadway Debut. The event benefits HERO - HIV Experience Resources Organization, a 501c-3 volunteer based charitable organization that promotes safe sex practices and provides resources to people newly diagnosed and living with HIV. To be hosted by Ben Cameron, the Broadway and Ballet HERO Awards features 14 spectacular performances by stars from the worlds of Broadway and Ballet that will perform together.

Multitalented twin brother singer-songwriters Will & Anthony Nunziata have officially partnered with one of the nation's leading breast cancer non-profits, Susan G. Komen®. The original song “The Gift Is You” from their soon to be released album Love Alwayswill be used in upcoming campaign videos for the organization in 2018 & 2019. The song was written as a response to their mother's breast cancer diagnosis (today she is in remission) and the brothers debuted the song during two sold out shows at Carnegie Hall with the 90-piece New York Pops. The song will be available on iTunes with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen. Grammy-winning producer/songwriter Rudy Perez (Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin) wrote the Spanish version “El Regalo Eres Tu” also featured on the album.  

The world premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact officially opened on Broadway last night, October 18 at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). BroadwayWorld was there, and you can check out photos from the red carpet below!
