THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - will celebrate its second birthday with the return of Tony Award winner Lillias Whitewith a Valentine's Day show tonight, Thursday, February 14 at 7:00 PM. White opened the room on Valentine's Day in 2017 and returned last year for the club's special first anniversary. With music direction by Alvin Hough, Jr. (The Color Purple and Once On This Island) and direction by Will Nunziata (Our Guy, Cy and Kander & Ebb's The Act), the evening will explore the power of self-love through soul, sass, and song. Tunes include those written by Smokey Robinson, Cy Coleman, Alan & Marilyn Bergman, William Finn, Hoagy Carmichael, Betty Comden & Adolph Green, Stephen Flaherty & Lynn Ahrens, and more.

It's BIlly Stritch with his Winter Valentine at Birdland this week, and his first night with special guest Gabrielle Stravelli filled the Birdland Theater with loads of romantic notes last night.

The Green Room 42 Presents Rachel Ulanet (Broadway's Beauty and The Beast, Lovemusik, and King David) in her solo show, Keep Me Searching, Friday March 1, at 7PM.

The Green Room 42 presents the International Touring Casts of A Chorus Line in Off the Line, a concert series, on Monday, March 1st at 9:30PM. Off the Line will feature a behind the scenes look at the character's inner thoughts and life on the road through the best of the musical theatre cannon.

Award-winning recording artist and entertainer, Marieann Meringolo, brings her critically acclaimed theatrical concert "Between Yesterday and Tomorrow: The Songs of Alan & Marilyn Bergman' to New York City's treasure, 'Don't Tell Mama!" It's where her cabaret roots were sprouting just a mere 30 years ago...And, now she is delighted to once again grace the renowned stage for a One Night Only Event on March 8th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Three-time Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello will make a rare concert appearance and her long-awaited Bay Area concert debut at the historic Orinda Theatre as part of the Live At the Orinda concert series.

5-STAR THEATRICALS (formerly Cabrillo Music Theatre) presents a very special benefit event, ONE NIGHT ONLY - DREAMGIRLS IN CONCERT, music by Henry Krieger, book & lyrics by Tom Eyen, musical direction by Patrick Gandy, choreography by Lesia Kaye and directed by Robert Clater. DREAMGIRLS IN CONCERT will perform Saturday, February 16, 2018 at 8pm at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.    

The starry lineup is set for the sixth monthly concert in the year-long Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On March 25 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Beyonce: Unplugged, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the pop star's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' on February 10, 2019 at 2pm. Turchin has previously performed two successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage. The Green Room 42 brings New Generation Theater Company's 'Louder Than Words' to New York City for a one night only engagement. 'Louder Than Words', is a musical tribute to one of Broadway's most celebrated composers, Jonathan Larson. The performance will play Today, January 19th at 7:00pm at The Green Room 42. The night will feature musical numbers from both 'Rent' and 'tick.. tick... BOOM' including 30/90, One Song Glory, Johnny Can't Decide, Out Tonight, Louder Than Words and more!
