Rent Star Logan Farine Joins The Cast Of LOUDER THAN WORDS At Green Room 42
Rent star Logan Farine joins the cast of The Green Room 42 and New Generation Theater Company's "Louder Than Words" for a one-night engagement in New York City. "Louder Than Words" is musical tribute to one of Broadway's most celebrated composers, Jonathan Larson. The performance will play Saturday, January 19th at 7:00pm at Green Room 42. The night will include musical numbers from both "Rent" and "tick.. tick... BOOM" such as "30/90", "One Song Glory", "Johnny Can't Decide", "Out Tonight", "Louder Than Words" and more!
Previously seen in the Rent 20th Anniversary Broadway National Tour, Logan Farine will join Victoria Britt*, Julie Busch, Hannah Clarke Levine, Kari Lynn Cotone*, Coleman Cummings, Timothy Rashaad Fisher, John C. McGowan, Maddison Rotner, Abraham Shaikh, Stefanie Sambrano, Zoe Tchapraste and Racquel Williams.
When asked about his experience on the road with Rent, Farine says, "I could not be more excited to be part of this show. Not only was Rent one of the shows that helped make me want to do theater, but most of the original creative team was involved. When I first began in August of 2017, I was hired as a swing. I had never done that before, and trying to keep five tracks straight in my head was a new challenge for me." Farine went on to explain his connection with Larson's music saying, "I love his ability to use so many styles of music to tell one story. Rent is constantly changing styles but they all fit together so well. He has changed my life in so many ways. His creation was not only a therapy session but a dream come true to tell the story every night. My time with Rent sent me all over the country for over year and then three months in Asia. The Rent family that I became part of is something that I will keep with me forever."
