PEN America today announces the presenters introducing the 2022 Literary Awards' three career achievement honorees, and the performers who will take the stage at New York City's Town Hall (123 W. 43rd St.) for the momentous celebration of this year's most resonant literature, held on February 28 as an in-person event hosted by Emmy Award-winning late night host Seth Meyers.

Based on the canine from the classic book Pretzel by award-winning authors Margret and H.A. Rey, creators of Curious George, the original series is a new story about the modern dog family led by stay-at-home dad Pretzel, his five adorable Dachshund puppies, and mom Greta, the mayor of Muttgomery. The series stars Mark Suplass and Nassim Pedrad.

Frank Ford and Adelaide Critic’s Circle award-winner Wil King (DIRT, ABC/Netflix’s Why Are You Like This) returns for Adelaide Fringe 2022; this time opposite rising star Bridget Gao-Hollitt (Joseph Gordon Levitt’s Superpumped). The pair will star in David Ive’s Tony award-winning Venus in Fur… a witty, barreling examination of sexual politics in the workplace. This smash hit text will be directed by Green Room award-nominee Daniel Lammin.

The Baryshnikov Arts Center’s Spring 2022 Season will open with the New York City premiere of Open Practice, a virtual performance by high wire artist Philippe Petit. Open Practice is free and available to watch on demand from Monday, February 7, at 5pm ET, until Monday, February 21.
