The South Florida Theatre League announces the recipients of the 2023 Remy Awards, honoring those who provide outstanding service behind the scenes of the South Florida Theatre community. The awards will be presented at the recipients' theaters, allowing audiences to see the work done behind the scenes.

GableStage opens 23rd Season with Arthur Miller's Classic Drama, The Price  GableStage, the award-winning theatre company located at the iconic Biltmore Hotel, presents the first production of its 23rd season, The Price by Arthur Miller. The Price was the final play being directed by legendary artistic director Joseph Adler before his passing.

Tickets for GableStage's 23rd season are now on sale with streaming options. Intimate, edgy and inspiring, the new season presents three world premiere productions and one rolling premiere. 

Joseph Adler, Producing Artistic Director of GableStage and south Florida theater titan has passed away at age 79.

Palm Beach Dramaworks Producing Artistic Director William Hayes and GableStage Producing Artistic Director Joseph Adler are pleased to announce that their companies will be working together to co-produce the world premiere of Ordinary Americans, a play by Joseph McDonough based on actual events in the lives of Gertrude Berg and Philip Loeb, stars of television's groundbreaking sitcom,The Goldbergs, which premiered on CBS in 1949. As previously announced, Ordinary Americans will be staged at PBD from December 6 - 29, 2019. It will then move on to GableStage from January 18 - February 16, 2020. Hayes will direct, and South Florida favorite Elizabeth Dimon will star as Berg. The rest of the cast and artistic team will be announced at a later date.

The South Florida Silver Palm Theatre Awards, founded eleven years ago to honor theatrical excellence in South Florida, has announced that this year it will present the coveted award to 30 individuals and organizations.

It is believed to be the first co-production between two South Florida theatres. Indecent will open PBD's season in October, 2018, then move south to launch GableStage's season in November. J. Barry Lewis will direct.
