Jersey Shore legend RICHIE 'LaBAMBA' ROSENBERG, a late night TV fixture for the past 20 years anchoring the horn section in Conan O'Brien's band, will return to his roots to lead a very special version of his big band as host of the anchor event of LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2015 for its 15th anniversary edition in the battle against Parkinson's disease.

Following the sold out performance of Jeremy Jordan's cabaret Breaking Character, The Abbey has announced additional Broadway stars that will be performing in the all-new Broadway Spotlight Series. Two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz will return to The Abbey in March to perform his cabaret Girls, Girls, Girls. Additional performances include Brad Bradley, Melissa van der Schyff, and Paul Anthony Stewart.
George Brant's MARIE AND ROSETTA Set for Playwrights' Center, 2/2-3

The popular Ruth Easton New Play series at the Playwrights' Center continues in February with readings of the new play "Marie and Rosetta" by Core Writer George Brant. The play with music, about gospel greats Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Marie Knight, will have two public readings: Monday, February 2 and Tuesday, February 3 at 7 p.m. at the Playwrights' Center, 2301 E. Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis. The readings are free but tickets go fast so claim yours at pwcenter.org before they are gone.

On the proverbial heels of its recent record-breaking engagement of Robert Joffrey's The Nutcracker, The Joffrey Ballet continues its 2014-15 season with “Unique Voices,” a winter program of three contemporary ballets including the U.S. Premiere of Tulle by Swedish choreographer Alexander Ekman, alongside the Chicago Premieres of Canadian choreographer James Kudelka's The Man in Black and Australian choreographer Stanton Welch's Maninyas. These three leading artists, all former Joffrey guest choreographers, return with work in distinctly different styles from what Chicagoans have seen before. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Ashley Wheater, The Joffrey Ballet presents “Unique Voices” in ten performances only at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 E. Congress Parkway,February11-22, 2015.

New casting has been announced for the National Tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, which is entering its fourth smash year on the road and will play over 60 cities in the next year, bringing the Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock 'n' roll icons to many new locations across the country. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will make a stop at the Fabulous Fox Theatre February 27 - March 1.
