The Palace Theater, Wisconsin Dells' newest professional theater, 564 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy South, has announced its exciting new season full of critically acclaimed shows for the whole family.

In its continuing mission to bring culture to people who wouldn't necessarily have access, to illuminate, educate, and entertain, public television stations WNET (New York) and WLIW (Long Island) decided the time was ripe to reacquaint people with the art of cabaret. In February, viewers in the New York metro area were able to view new one-hour cabaret shows featuring singers KT Sullivan and Jennifer Sheehan.

Frigid temperatures that have accompanied this week's ice and snow throughout the South continues to wreak havoc on performance schedules at Middle Tennessee theaters, with some companies already cancelling performances Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and even one Thursday night performance already shuttered.

On the proverbial heels of its recent record-breaking engagement of Robert Joffrey's The Nutcracker, The Joffrey Ballet continues its 2014-15 season with 'Unique Voices,' a winter program of three contemporary ballets including the U.S. Premiere of Tulle by Swedish choreographer Alexander Ekman, alongside the Chicago Premieres of Canadian choreographer James Kudelka's The Man in Black and Australian choreographer Stanton Welch's Maninyas. These three leading artists, all former Joffrey guest choreographers, return with work in distinctly different styles from what Chicagoans have seen before. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Ashley Wheater, The Joffrey Ballet presents 'Unique Voices' in ten performances only at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 E.
