Ogunquit Playhouse Welcomes New Associate Producer

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the appointment of Brian Swasey to the position of Associate Producer. Brian is no stranger to the Playhouse as he directed the productions of The Berenstain Bears, and The Cat In The Hat. He is also no stranger to the seacoast area; he is originally from Portland, Maine, and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Musical Theatre and Dance. Brian Swasey recently stated, 'Growing up in New England, and seeing many shows at the Ogunquit Playhouse, I leapt at the chance to return to the area and become a part of the Playhouse family as the new Associate Producer."
Chenango River Theatre to Host 8th Annual Big Cash Raffle, 4/18

Chenango River Theatre will host its 8th Annual Big Cash Raffle from 6-9pm on Saturday, April 18 at the Genegantslet Golf Club. $9,550 in cash prizes will be awarded to the 7 lucky ticket holders with winning numbers - only 250 tickets will be sold. The Big Cash winner will take home $7,500 stuffed in a big jar. Second place is $1,000 and there are 5 additional cash prizes from $100-$500.

Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash returns to the Adventure Theater from tonight, March 27 through June 9, 2015. 'The show was a huge hit for us in 2013,' said director Bryce McDonald, 'and since it closed we've had many people ask us to bring it back.' Producing Director Jim Crabtree concurred, adding, 'It's a wonderful production, full of heart, joy and great music. And we're fortunate to again have Kellye Cash in the show. As Johnny's niece, her perspective and her recollections of him make our production truly special.'

The Bloody Jug Band continues to bring their horror influenced sounds to the masses. Their latest album, Rope Burn, launches thirteen more bloody tunes, this April. The Blood Jug Band, who hail from Orlando, Florida, have been making music for over six years.
