Cumberland County Playhouse announces the return of one of its most popular musicals, Singin' in the Rain.

Penobscot Theatre Company proudly announces its 42nd Season, offering four Maine premieres, a world premiere, a holiday classic, and beloved musicals. The season will kick-off September 10 and extend into early summer 2016, longer than usual to accommodate a blockbuster seventh show as yet to be announced.

Alabama-born recording artist Yelawolf releases his second full-length major-label album, entitled Love Story, today on Slumerican/Shady Records/Interscope.

Florida Studio Theatre's Summer Mainstage Season kicks off with the wayward, witty world of Inspired Lunacy, the Tour de Force production of The Hound of the Baskervilles, and the funny and heart-warming play, Over the River and Through the Woods. The Summer Cabaret Season will consist of the eclectic musical stylings of Six Guitars, by Chase Padgett and Jay Hopkins, the boot-tapping songs from Kings of Country, by Eric Scott Anthony, and the hip-swinging, hand-jiving sounds of The Swingaroos, by Kimberly Hawkey & Assaf Gleizner.

Following a career as an stand-up comedian, actor and writer, Mark Roberts is set to premiere New Country, his eighth play, at the Cherry Lane Theatre on May 16-June 20. Best known for his TV work on Two and a Half Men and Mike & Molly, Roberts trained as an actor and began his theater career in 1982 outside Chicago, where he first worked with New Country's director David Harwell.

Chenango River Theatre will host its 8th Annual Big Cash Raffle from 6-9pm today, April 18 at the Genegantslet Golf Club. $9,550 in cash prizes will be awarded to the 7 lucky ticket holders with winning numbers - only 250 tickets will be sold. The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the appointment of Brian Swasey to the position of Associate Producer. Brian is no stranger to the Playhouse as he directed the productions of The Berenstain Bears, and The Cat In The Hat. He is also no stranger to the seacoast area; he is originally from Portland, Maine, and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Musical Theatre and Dance. Brian Swasey recently stated, 'Growing up in New England, and seeing many shows at the Ogunquit Playhouse, I leapt at the chance to return to the area and become a part of the Playhouse family as the new Associate Producer."
