Put together two super actor/singers to perform The Songs Of Kander & Ebb and it's like Mantle and Maris hitting back to back homers in the world series. Oops, I promised myself I would avoid the Baseball references, however watching Haley Swindal you cannot help but wonder how this enormously talented lady became such an exciting entertainer coming from a sports/business family. Then again, George Steinbrenner did create exciting entertainment for millions with the Yankee franchise and he was also an avid fan and investor in Broadway shows.

Each year thousands of Georgia high school students participate in the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards. The year-long program culminates in an awards show featuring the next generation of Georgia's musical theatre talent. Presented by the Georgia Lottery, this year's awards show will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) over its nine-station statewide television network live from Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 19, 2018 from 7-9 pm.

The awards show is the culmination of a year-long professional development program, and will showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theatre talent. S.T.A.R. Council Students Get Ready For 2018 Shuler Awards

ArtsBridge Foundation, producers of the Shuler Awards, is bustling with activity as they prepare for the 10th Anniversary of the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards. 75 high schools across the state enrolled in this year's program. From those schools, 32 students have been selected to be part of the prestigious S.T.A.R. Council. These students have worked hard behind-the-scenes at their school's theatrical productions, and they will serve as Production Assistants during the Shuler Awards. Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) will air the awards show live on its nine-station statewide network from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, April 19.

Singer/Songwriter/Performer Adam Ross recently dropped his debut music video for an original song titled 'MEDICINE'. The song is reminiscent of an 80's pop track, with music theater influence.The video itself is a rocky horroresque short film that shares a tale on acceptance of oneself through the eyes of an experiment put on display. In the video, Adam as the 'experiment'  in a feud between the doctor, proposes the ideals of society and how it can contort one's unique spirit.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Chairman of the Nederlander Organization, theatre owner/operator, producer and presenter James M. Nederlander, who passed away on July 25th at age 94. Venues across the West End and on Broadway will be dimming their lights in his honor tonight, August 3, 2016.
