Variety reports that Howard Stern will broadcast from Los Angeles on October 7th. Stern is known for hating air travel, but he's being brave in order to celebrate the opening of Sirius XM's new Hollywood studio complex. 

 SiriusXM and Pandora today announced that Howard Stern will commemorate the official October 7th opening of SiriusXM Hollywood, the company's new Hollywood complex featuring artist-first studios, with Stern's first broadcast from the West Coast in almost 20 years.

GLSEN, the leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ youth, is pleased to announce that it will honor Amazon Studios with the Visionary Award at the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards – Los Angeles.  Amazon Studios Chief Jennifer Salke will accept the award on behalf of the organization.  As previously announced, Apple CEO Tim Cook will receive the Champion Award.
