Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), the professional North Fulton theatre company, will remount its 2017 smash hit, the Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet, at the Conant Performing Arts Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University. Inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time, this production will run December 14, 2018 through January 12, 2019 at a new venue for GET in Brookhaven at Oglethorpe University. 

Slow Burn Theatre Company and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts follow their hit stagings of rock musicals Spring Awakening and Rock of Ages with Hedwig and the Angry Inch starring Carbonell Award winners Dominique Scott and Mallory K. Newbro in the Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Thursday, November 8-Sunday, November 25.

MIKE JUDGE PRESENTS: TALES FROM THE TOUR BUS, chronicling the exploits of legendary music artists, begins its eight-episode second season FRIDAY, NOV. 2 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on CINEMAX. While the first season of the show spotlighted country musicians, the new season focuses on funk music greats, including George Clinton, Rick James, James Brown and Bootsy Collins. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Parliament-Funkadelic founder Clinton serves as consulting producer and provides original music for the series.

Sierra Rep is proud to present two-time Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel. The production will be helmed by the company's Producing Artistic Director Scott Viets. City Winery Chicago has announced that Katharine McPhee will perform on Monday, November 5th. City Winery also announced many other shows, including its annual 10,000 Maniacs Valentine's run. On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought together Johnny Cash (Peter Oyloe), Jerry Lee Lewis (Taylor Gray), Carl Perkins (Austin Hohnke) and Elvis Presley (Daniel Durston). Sam Phillips (Andy Ingalls), the undisputed "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" gathered these four legends for the first and only time at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions ever.

Bucks County Playhouse's acclaimed production of "Million Dollar Quartet" has surpassed expectations and broken the Playhouse's box office record - becoming the theater's most attended and top grossing production. Playing off the theme of this rock n' roll musical, cast members Sky Seals (who plays Johnny Cash), Ari McKay Wilford (who plays Elvis Presley) and Ryah Nixon will perform. Cast members will join the Playhouse's Producing Director Tony Award-winning Alexander Fraser and staff to "SMASH records."
