Marriott Theatre Announces 2019 Season

The Marriott Theatre, Chicagoland's longest-running professional musical theater, announces its 2019 Season! The award-winning theatre will present both productions of classic Broadway hits, as well as new musicals in 2019.

The Marriott Theatre's 2019 Subscription Series features MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET (starts January 16); FOOTLOOSE THE MUSICAL (starts April 10); DARLING GRENADINE (starts June 26); SOMETHING ROTTEN! (starts August 28); and OLIVER! (starts October 30).

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET- Starts January 16, 2019

The Tony Award-Winning musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. (MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is currently on sale only to 2019 Subscribers.)

FOOTLOOSE THE MUSICAL - Starts April 10, 2019

Based on the hit film, and the true story of Elmore, Oklahoma, which banned dancing for 90 years - FOOTLOOSE is packed with a top-ten hit score like "Almost Paradise," "Let's Hear It for the Boy," "Holding Out for a Hero," and "Footloose."

DARLING GRENADINE - Starts June 26, 2019

Told with a rich contemporary score, DARLING GRENADINE, with its surprising melding of whimsical humor and serious themes, brings us something magical, moving, and boldly unique. A new musical, with a twist! Marriott Theatre is honored to present this new musical by Daniel Zaitchik.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! - Starts August 28, 2019

Welcome to the Renaissance! With its heart on its ruffled sleeve and sequins in its soul, this hilarious Broadway smash is "The Producers + Spamalot + The Book of Mormon. Squared!" - New York Magazine.

OLIVER! - Starts October 30

Celebrate the holidays with one of the most beloved family musicals of all time, the story of the orphan Oliver and his quest for the true love of a family. Featuring beloved songs like "Food, Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," and "As Long as He Needs Me."
