TEENAGE DICK, which follows Ma-Yi's phenomenal success with the critically acclaimed KPOP, winner of three 2018 Lucille Lortel Awards, is choreographed by Jennifer Weber (KPOP), directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Hand to God, Present Laughter), and stars Tiffany Villarin (House Rules) and Gregg Mozgala (Light Shining). It runs Off-Broadway at The Public Theater (425 Lafayette St).

Cannes' Critic Week saw the premiere of this year's newest Carey Mulligan movie, Wildlife: a shattering, 1960s-set drama in which she co-stars alongside Jake Gyllenhaal?. In it, she plays a woman who cheats on her husband. 'It's the kind of warts-and-all role that are usually reserved for men,' Mulligan said, according to Variety. However, prior to the film's fall release, Mulligan is getting back onstage and starring in Girls & Boys, a one-woman show that recently opened at the Minetta Lane Theatre after a sold-out run in London.

The American Shakespeare Center (ASC) began its 30th Anniversary Artistic Year with the launch of the 2018 Summer/Fall Season and a performance of As You Like It on June 13. The 2018 Summer/Fall Season will also feature a world-premiere adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma by Emma Whipday, Richard III, and George Etherege's The Man of Mode.

The New Group has announced four world premiere productions for its upcoming 2018-2019 Season. The company's new season begins in Fall 2018 with Sharr White's The True, directed by Scott Elliott, with Edie Falco, Michael McKean and Peter Scolari. The company's season continues in Fall 2018 with Clueless, The Musical, by Amy Heckerling, with choreography by Kelly Devine, directed by Kristin Hanggi; followed in Winter 2019 by Jeremy O. Harris' 'Daddy,' a co-production with Vineyard Theatre, directed by Danya Taymor, featuring Alan Cumming; and in Spring 2019, Jesse Eisenberg's Yea, Sister!, directed by Scott Elliott.

Sullivan as Interim Artistic Director, effective June 25, 2018. States Founding Artistic Director and Ensemble Member Michael Grant, "J.R. is deeply passionate both about Irish theater and the ITC ensemble, and believes strongly in our place in Chicago's theater scene. Evans, announces its 44th season, opening withCurve of Departure by Rachel Bonds and directed by BJ Jones. The season continues with the World Premiere of Mansfield Park, Kate Hamill's new adaptation of Jane Austen's classic tale of social satire, directed by Stuart Carden; followed by Christina Ham's Nina Simone: Four Women,directed by Kenneth L. Roberson; and the World Premiere of Landladies (previously titled The Janice), written by Sharyn Rothstein and directed by Jess McLeod. Closing out the season is Into the Breeches! by George Brant and directed by Jessica Thebus.

With the 1950s Red Scare in full swing, the House Un-American Activities Committee attacks 'subversion' in the arts. When a romance blossoms between rising comic Mickey and firebrand actress Natalie, they face being blacklisted along with their friends and fellow artists. Written by Jack's son, playwright/screenwriter Joe Gilford, this engaging play shares the story of targeted individuals in the entertainment industry suddenly faced with losing their careers, or being branded forever as 'finks.'
