Hot on the heels of last week's celebrity recordings announcement, more stars have jumped on board to perform their own versions of songs from the West End's newest British musical, The Grinning Man. Matt Lucas, Kelsey Grammer and Hannah Waddingham have now joined Harry Enfield, Alexander Armstrong and Louise Dearman in a star-studded line-up of celebrities releasing unique versions of their favourite tracks from The Grinning Man.

Theatrical charity Acting for Others announces that over 150,000 has been raised at this year's One Night Only at The Ivy setting the record for the highest amount raised from this event. Stars of the stage and screen swapped their costumes for aprons and served diners across two sittings at The Ivy, world-renowned for their unfaltering impeccable service. Heading up the waiting staff this year to ply their trades in bartending, waiting tables, manning cloakrooms and welcoming guests were Noma Dumezweni, Arlene Phillips and Freddie Fox.

Theatrical charity Acting for Others today announces the return of One Night Only at The Ivy in West Street on Sunday 10 December 2017. Over 100,000 was raised last year for the charity, which is an umbrella organisation for 15 invaluable charities dedicated to supporting people from the theatre and dance communities who have fallen on hard times through injury, illness or circumstance.

A new musical featuring the songs of legendary pop singer Tom Jones is now in the works. According to the New York Post's Michael Riedel, a staged reading of the project, titled WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?, was recently directed by Scott Ellis (SHE LOVES ME) in London a few weeks ago.

The New York City Gay Men's Chorus (NYCGMC) announced today that they will welcome their siblings in song from the London Gay Men's Chorus (LGMC) to join them on stage for I SEE FIRE: Anthems for a New Era, Saturday, May 20 at 8pm at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

Last night, musical 42ND STREET opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London's West End. The show received a royal seal of approval from Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who was given a pair of golden tap shoes by the producers and writer/director Mark Bramble. The Duchess attended the show in her role as Royal Patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

Last night was the official opening of the West End transfer of Tom Stoppard's TRAVESTIES, which had a hit run at the Menier Chocolate Factory last year. Patrick Marber directs the revival, with a cast that features Tom Hollander, Clare Foster, Freddie Fox, Forbes Masson, Peter McDonald, Amy Morgan, Sarah Quist and Tim Wallers.
