Digital Theatre has just announced that the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's Olivier Award-winning revival of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods will be added to its paid Youtube channel, for a limited run, from Thursday 5 September. Today also sees Digital Theatre announce a global virtual screening of the production at 7.30pm BST on Friday 27 September across all of Digital Theatre's platforms.

Theatre Royal Bath has announced Richard Wilson will star in the final production of its Summer Season, A Little Hotel On The Side directed by Lindsay Posner and Cal McCrystal. Adapted by John Mortimer, this hilarious comedy by Georges Feydeau and Maurice Desvallieres will appear at Theatre Royal Bath from tonight 15th August - Saturday 31st August.

Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is bringing SPAMALOT back to Houston stages. This locally produced production of the smash hit comedic musical is being directed by Marc Robin. The cast features performers that have previously been in productions of SPAMALOT before and some new to the show altogether. During his Tuesday night dinner break, I got the opportunity to chat with Brian Shepard, who was a member of SPAMALOT's Original Broadway Company, about his career and his experiences with SPAMALOT in New York City and with TUTS.

The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time leads the list with eight nominations, followed by the toe-tapping new musical Top Hat receiving seven, and the West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's revival of Sweeney Todd in close competition with six. Other stand-out nominations include The Audience and Kiss Me, Kate receiving five each, and Constellations, The Bodyguard and Twelfth Night with four.
