A romantic evening of music and verse, Kiss Me, Shakespeare! A Valentine’s Cabaret will run February 12 - 14, 2021 in Orlando Shakes’ new outdoor performance space, the Darden Courtyard tent, behind the Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Patrons will be seated at socially distanced, cabaret-style tables. Tickets starting at $15 per person are on sale now.

Season 41 features the return of a postponed production, new partnerships, a digital season, and an exciting evolution of Woollya??s subscription plan. Anticipated to take place between Fall 2020 and Summer 2021, Woollya??s timeline is designed to be flexible given the rolling nature of the re-opening process. Kafka's most famous story of a man who inexplicably finds himself transformed into a beetle will be getting a fresh adaptation from Bath-based company Beyond The Horizon. In a modern day setting and told with stunning visuals, provided by TV and film makeup artist Sarah Luscombe, the production probes our understanding of how perception shapes our interactions, and the pressures on families taking care of a person who is in some way debilitated. Gregor's metamorphosis will be shown in ultra-realistic detail through state-of-the-art makeup and prosthetics.
