I’ll start off by saying wow! I had goosebumps from the very beginning, all the way through. Vincent van Gogh is one of my favourite painters and this is largely why I was so excited to seen VINCENT – HIS QUEST TO LOVE AND BE LOVED when I first saw it advertised last year. It took me a while to get there, but it was well worth the wait.

Each song on AMERICAN DREAM touches on a different aspect or experience of Foster’s life, with the title track being an all-encompassing examination of many issues from his childhood to the present. At six and a half minutes long, the song was inspired by Foster’s love for Don McLean’s epic “American Pie.”

Don Graham, a music promotion pioneer who started his lengthy career in the early days of Warner Bros. Records, A&M, Blue Thumb, and United Artists in the 1960s, died Thursday evening, July 7, 2022 of stomach cancer at the age of 87.  He was surrounded by his family.

Talk show host and award-winning pop music star Kelly Clarkson surprised her television audience today with a beautiful rendition of Don McLean’s hit single “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)” in honor of the 50th Anniversary of McLean’s American Pie album that spawned the hit singles “American Pie” and “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)”. McLean will also be featured on Talk Shop Live, Monday, April 11 at 3 PM ET to discuss his upcoming children’s book “American Pie: The Fable” which will be released on June 7.
