On Monday, December 9, 2013, The Broadway Dreams Foundation held its third annual holiday gala, "Night of Dreams," at Celsius, a restaurant, bar and event space within the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park. At this one of a kind urban winter wonderland in of the heart of midtown Manhattan, Broadway's brightest stars and patrons of the arts joined together for a festive celebration of the country's premier musical theatre training program.

The Pearl Theatre Company kicks off its 30th anniversary season-the second season in its new home on West 42nd Street-with the first New York revival in 15 years of George Bernard Shaw's You Never Can Tell in a co-production with the Gingold Theatrical Group that is directed by David Staller. Running September 3-October 13, the show's sumptuous costumes, elegant settings and Shavian wit will raise a champagne toast to a year of celebration at The Pearl, where Shaw, following Shakespeare, has been the second most produced playwright in The Pearl's history. Casting for MOTEL RASDELL: A New Musical was announced today. Broadway all stars head up the show: Emma Hunton (Rent, Next To Normal, Spring Awakening), Tim Young (Next To Normal), Sarah Litzsinger (Amour, Beauty & The Beast), Alena Watters (Sister Act, The Addams Family, West Side Story) and Jonathan Hadley (Jersey Boys, A Class Act).Other cast members include John Gardiner (National Tours of Jersey Boys, The Lion King), Emily McNamara (Newsical the Musical, My Big Gay Italian Wedding), RJ Woessner (ABC's One Life to Live, NBC's The Sing-Off) Ryan Powell, Sami Horneff, Jamie Cook, and Justin Liebergen.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF)'s fourteenth season will include a slate of full-length plays and musicals, as well as Short Subjects. The Festival will run from July 15 to August 4, 2013, at the June Havoc Theatre, 312 W. 36th Street, NYC, 1st floor; the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, 312 W. 36th Street, NYC, 1st floor; the Main Stage Theater, 312 W. 36th Street, NYC, 4th floor; and the Jewel Box Theater, 312 W. 36th Street, NYC, 4th floor.

Good to Go Entertainment has announced the reading of their inaugural project the new musical Motel Rasdell - a new musical by Danielle DeMatteo (music and lyrics) and Chrisina Bracco (book) will take place in New York City today, January 22nd under the direction of Donnie Kehr (Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot). Broadway's Felicia Finley (Mamma Mia, The Wedding Singer), Sara Schmidt (Jersey Boys) and Tracy McDowell (Rent) are among those who will be participating.

Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw featured George Bernard Shaw's final full-length play, BUOYANT BILLIONS, last night, October 22. Now in its seventh sold-out year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present every play (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches) written by George Bernard Shaw.
