Boulder-based square product theatre presents the Colorado Premiere of Clare Barron's feral and refreshingly daring “Dance Nation,” a Finalist for the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. With a production team led by Los Angeles-based director Gleason Bauer, and original choreography by Laura Ann Samuelson, the cast features a diverse, intergenerational group of actors. 

Clubbed Thumb has announced complete casting for the final production of the rescheduled 25th SUMMERWORKS festival of new plays, Bodies They Ritual. Performances will run June 22-July 2.

Tony Award-nominated and five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced complete casting for the rescheduled 25th SUMMERWORKS festival of new plays. 

Trustus Theatre's 37th season continues with the regional premiere of Dance Nation, Clare Barron's award-winning play about pre-teen competetive dancers and the burden of adolescence. Trustus staff member Abigail McNeely directs the show with choreography by Brailey Johnson, assisted by Shaundra Moreland.

Playwrights Horizons will present Will Arbery’s Corsicana, directed by Sam Gold, June 2–July 10 (opening June 22) in the Mainstage Theater. In Corsicana, a small city in Texas, a woman with Down syndrome named Ginny and her half-brother Christopher are unmoored in the wake of their mother’s death.

Ars Nova is extending the world premiere commission of Oratorio for Living Things to May 15.  Fault Line Theatre will continue the 2022 Season of Irons in the  Fire, the organization’s reading series of new plays in development, with God Save the Queer by Zackary Grady, directed by Portia Krieger and featuring Michael Urie (George), Mallory Portnoy (Charlotte), Keshav Moodliar (Tariq), Seth Clayton (Louis), and Mary McCann (Kate).

Teenage Dick, a current streaming option from Pasadena Playhouse, filmed as a coproduction with the Huntington Theatre of Boston and Woolly Mammoth Theatre of DC is perfectly translated from the stage to the computer screen.
