Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook finishes up its twelfth season celebrating the diversity of American popular song with a final week of different and dazzling concerts. For 16 nights of pop, folk, cabaret, country, rock, and show tunes, the series explored the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic contemporary songwriting.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present An Evening with Christine Ebersole on Friday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m. The concert will take place in the Center's new, state-of-the-art Virginia G. Piper Theater.

This March the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park will present its inaugural Broadway Luminaries series as part of the Harris Theater Presents 2009-2010 season of world-renowned national and international artists and ensembles. Featuring Broadway legends of script and song, the series features an 'A Life in the Theater' dialogue with composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, Thursday, March 4 at 7:30 pm and an evening with Winnetka native and two-time Tony Award-winning actress and songstress Christine Ebersole, Thursday, March 25 at 7:30 pm.

This week, January 25, stars celebrated the winners of the 2010 Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall. Among the winners and performers were Christine Ebersole, Cheyenne Jackson, Johnny Rodgers, Gretchen Reinhagen, Anne Steele, Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano. 'Glee' took home top honors last night at the Dorian Awards, winning the award for the TV musical or comedy of the year. In addition, the drama 'Grey Gardens,' inspired by the 1975 documentary of the same name, was named TV Drama of the Year. The Dorian Awards are presented by the newly formed Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association.
