Christine Ebersole Joins Cast of Upcoming 'Retired at 35' Pilot

Tony award winner Christine Ebersole has landed a role on the upcoming pilot of the show 'Retired at 35,' which will premiere on TV Land. The show will star a host of actors including George Segal, Johnathan McClain, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Jere Burns, Matt Champagne, Faye DeWitt, Josh McDermott, Jessica Walter, Casey Wilson, and George Wyner.

Pasadena Playhouse announced casting today for their upcoming production of Lerner and Loewe's CAMELOT, featuring book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Nine-time Emmy Award-winning director/writer/producer David Lee (co-creator of 'Frasier' and director of the Ovation Award-winning production of Can-Can at Pasadena Playhouse) directs a cast of eight in this timeless tale of passion, desire and betrayal. Based on 'The Once and Future King' by T.H. White, CAMELOT was originally directed and staged by Moss Hart on Broadway in 1960. The musical, which is the first production of the Playhouse's 2010 Season, will play January 8 - February 7, 2010 with the official press opening on Friday, January 15 at Pasadena Playhouse.

Last week boasted plenty of familiar faces onstage at Birdland in New York City. Christine Ebersole and Billy Stritch performed an 8-show run at the historic music room, composer Scott Alan hosted a concert of his songs with a starry cast, and Jim Caruso's Cast Party was the place to be for Broadway and jazz types to show their stuff!

The Tony-nominated musical Grey Gardens, will make it's debut across the Pacific in Japan at Tokyo's Theatre Creation from November 7 - December 6. The production is being directed by Tony-nominated Amon Miyamoto (Pacific Overtures).
