TV Land announced today that production on the network's first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland' starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White will begin on Monday, May 10. The 10 episode series premieres June 16 at 10pm on TV Land. The sitcom is TV Land's first foray into scripted comedy series and is a TV Land PRIME presentation. 'Hot in Cleveland' is executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winner Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions and is helmed by Emmy(R) Award-winning Suzanne Martin ('Frasier,' 'Ellen') serving as executive producer, show runner and writer.

Fresh off its sold-out Valentine's Day performance by Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, Bay Area Cabaret continues its sixth season of seasoned Broadway, pop and jazz vocalists on Sunday, March 28th when Broadway star Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!, Hairspray, Sunset Blvd) performs a new program of showstoppers and pop originals. Next up on Friday, April 16th is The Rose songwriter Amanda McBroom, performing a tribute to her songwriting inspiration Jacques Brel. The Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center announced an expanded season of productions, artists, local discoveries, and new film and performance series. Charlie Williams, Mr. Memphis, was crowned as winner of the 4th The Broadway Beauty Pageant held Monday evening at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th St.). The popular event is the annual spring benefit for New York's Ali Forney Center, which houses homeless LGBT youth in New York City.

The winner for the year was Charlie Williams who rapped and danced his way to victory from this year's celebrity judges - Christine Ebersole, Charles Busch and Jackie Hoffman.
