Ghostlight Records has proclaimed November 24, 2009 - the official release date of the GLORY DAYS Original Broadway Cast Recording - ‘Glory Day' in honor of the show's history-making run at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre last season. Tony Winner Benanti to Replace Evans and Russell in Kennedy Center Concert, 4/30

Tony Award winner Laura Benanti is set to replace British stars Daniel Evans and Jenna Russell in an upcoming 'Spotlight' concert series at the Kennedy Center. Benanti will take over the concert, which is set to be a part of the 'Barbara Cook's Spotlight' concert series, featuring Broadway stars and curated by Barbara Cook.

The 'King of Pop' will be honored with a special musical tribute titled ‘Don't Stop Till You Get Enough' to be presented on Monday, October 19 at 7PM at Birdland in New York City. The tribute will feature an 8-piece band, backing the vocal talents of Broadway actors Norm Lewis, Christine Ebersole, Capathia Jenkins, Darius De Haas, Marty Thomas, Destan Owens, Antonique Smith, Kendrick Jones, and others.

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting has announced the 60th anniversary of its founding. It is one of the oldest actor training schools in the country, founded by the legendary Stella Adler in New York City in 1949. With Rob Fisher behind the podium conducting the Pacific Symphony, LuPone takes the audience for a ride through her musical theater past. As the show's title Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda suggests, the evening's selections are from musicals she either auditioned for, shows she thinks she could/should have starred in, or-as in the case of Evita-shows that made her the star she is today.
