Ogunquit Playhouse, the crown jewel of the Maine Southern Seacoast and a renowned destination for regional theatre, is proud to announce that Deborah Warren will join Ogunquit Playhouse as the new Managing Director, beginning March 1, 2023. Warren's appointment follows a national search conducted by Tom O'Connor Consulting Group and led by a search committee of Playhouse Board and Staff.

Live theatre returns to Maine’s Southern Seacoast this Summer with side-splitting laughter; tap dancing heroes and monsters; pizza, spam, and cheeseburgers in paradise; and everyone’s favorite pop hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. The initial production of the new musical stage adaptation of the 1988 Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) motion picture MYSTIC PIZZA, with story and characters by Amy Holden Jones, will open this summer at the Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine.

As the world turns its attention to Graceland this week to honor the 40th Anniversary of Elvis Presley's passing, the Authentic Brand Group/Elvis Presley Enterprises visited the cast of the Ogunquit Playhouse world premiere production of Heartbreak Hotel during rehearsal in New York City today.

The Ogunquit Playhouse in southern Maine has been setting the bar higher and higher with each new production under Bradford T. Kenney, artistic director. What used to be a quintessential ocean-side summer stock house now operates from May through November, often mounting New England, and occasionally national, regional premieres. Its current musical, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, is the company's most ambitious venture yet. Adapted from the 1996 Disney animated film which was based on the classic Victor Hugo novel "Notre Dame de Paris," the Ogunquit production boasts a towering vaulted set design, a 21-member cast of Broadway veterans, and a tremendous 32-member choir. This HUNCHBACK delivers soaring vocals as big as its epic themes.

The Ogunquit Playhouse is the first regional theatre in the country to produce the Tony Award-winning musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, onstage now through September 19, 2015.
