Cape Rep Theatre continues its 2018 season with the Broadway musical sensation, MAMMA MIA!, music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, and some songs with Stig Anderson, book by Catherine Johnson, originally conceived by Judy Cramer, August 1 through September 2: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. The Civilians, the celebrated Off-Broadway theatre company, will host a benefit concert at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.) on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at 7pm. This one-night-only event will celebrate the life and legacy of founding Associate Artist, the late composer and lyricist Michael Friedman, and will raise funds for the newly created Michael Friedman Legacy Fund.

Cape Rep Theatre is celebrating its 32nd season with an exciting line up of plays and musicals, all of them Cape Cod premieres, one fresh from New York. The Indoor Theater season will open with Richard Nelson's Regular Singing, followed by Jaclyn Backhaus' ingenious comedy, Men On Boats.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) welcomes the holiday season with a true theatrical gem, A Child's Christmas in Wales now through January 1st.The show features outstanding direction by Joseph Discher, musical direction by Robert Long and a stellar cast.

Last presented here 13 years ago, many patrons have asked us to bring this musical celebration of the season back to our stage. Based on Thomas' classic story about his childhood holidays in Wales in the early 1900's, this beautiful piece about a time gone by rejoices in the simple joys of childhood, the spirit of goodness, the comfort of family, and the magic that music and the imagination bring to us all.
