Anything goes in this scene study class geared to give experienced actors an opportunity to explore characters they've never had the chance to play or writers they've never had the opportunity to perform. We'll forget about the constraints of casting by age, sex and race and open things up. If you're a woman and want to try your hand at Glengarry Glen Ross, we'll do it. If you've always wanted to take a stab at Shakespeare or Chekhov but feel it won't happen any time soon, we'll dive in. If you're a man who's always wanted to play Blanche, sweet. This eight-week course will give each actor the chance to explore several characters and will culminate in an end-of-season showcase for friends and Cape Rep staff. First class is Tuesday, 7/5 and then it continues on Monday evenings. All classes are from 6-9 in the Cape House Community Room. Class runs through August 29 with a showcase of work on that evening. Fee $350
