As JCC Centerstage Producing Artistic Director Ralph Meranto stated during Saturday night's pre-show announcements, seeing original stagecraft that can't be found anywhere else is one of the most treasured aspects of live theatre, and is indeed why many of us attend the theatre so regularly in the first place. JCC's 'Hitmaker' series is one of those one-of-a-kind gems, and 'Welcome to the 70s' is the seventh installment in which performers intertwine musical performance with historical exploration, treating the audience to exciting renditions of their favorite tunes as well as the needed context regarding what was happening in the world of music, and the world at large, during the time it was hitting the airwaves.

Originally released on February 14, 1992, Wayne's World marked the feature film debut of Wayne and Garth, the wildly popular characters originated by Mike Myers and Dana Carvey on “Saturday Night Live.”  A hilarious send-up of pop culture, the film also features Rob Lowe, Tia Carrere, and Alice Cooper.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper introduced shock rock to the masses—and now he's bringing it to NJPAC on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. The man (and the band) has rattled cages and undermined authority since the '70s, with musical mayhem and house-of-horrors theatrics. Hot off the release of his acclaimed 2021 album Detroit Stories, Alice Cooper is touring tirelessly to bring fresh material and greatest hits to fans around the world. He'll be joined by Buckcherry, the '90s sleaze-rock band that recently released Hellbound, its ninth album. This is an outrageous live show not to be missed.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has announced Alice Cooper with special guest Buckcherry will perform in Thrivent Hall on March 31, 2022. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center start at $44.50 and go on sale Friday, December 10 at 10 a.m.
