Jamie Buxton was recently seen as Sally Smith in Reagle Music Theatre’s Me and My Girl. She played Val in the Hawaiian tour of A Chorus Line, Darlene in the US and Virgin Islands tour of Click Clack Moo, and performed in the European tour and cast recording of Hair with Adam Lambert. Her regional credits include 42nd Street (Peggy Sawyer), 9 to 5 (Doralee), Some Enchanted Evening (Nellie), Oklahoma! (Ado Annie), Gypsy (June), The Who’s Tommy (Sally Simpson), Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and the regional premiere of Hairspray at such theatres as North Shore Music Theatre, West Virginia Public Theatre, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Stage One, and Prather Entertainment Group. She performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Ole Opry and portrayed Cruella DeVil in two musicals for Disney Cruise Line. An accomplished pianist, Jamie originated the onstage keyboard-playing role of Debbie in NYMF’s Rainbow Around the Sun and also co-starred in the SXSW-selected film by the same name. She has soloed in cabarets at the Triad, the 92nd Street Y, and 54 Below and performed in a tribute to Alec Baldwin for Roundabout Theatre Company. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
