The new play 'Graceland Too: The Building Elvis Never Left' written by Memphis-native, playwright and producer Nicole Hughes is set to be directed by Broadway performer, director/choreographer, and Memphis-native Maxx Reed and music directed by Memphian and former-Perspective band member Matt Wood for the upcoming Equity-Approved Showcase Production at the New York Theater Festival.

Showdogs has announced their world premiere production of a?oeSad Clowns: A Fablea?? by Gamal ElSawah. The production, helmed by director and co-founder Conrado Falco, is Showdogs' first full scale venture after two years of cultivating a close-knit community of artists. a?oeSad Clownsa?? was developed in their Playwrights Collective and will have five performances at The Kraine Theater (84 East 4th Street) from April 22-26.

Now in its fifth year, Communal Spaces: a garden play festival will premiere eight new short plays inspired by and performed in four community gardens in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The festival will take place in the last three weekends on September.

Following a successful January run at Hunter Theatre Company David M. deLeon and Esther Ko's CLICKBAIT is currently running Off-Off-Broadway. The topical dramedy tells the story of a college-aged girl who is mistakenly identified as a suicide victim. Her collegiate peers set their social media feeds ablaze with their feelings about her death, reconstructing her story to fit their own latent emotional needs.
