The series also comes from executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Loreli Alanis (Point Grey Pictures); Megan Ellison (Annapurna); Michael Sagol, Bert Hamelinck (Caviar) The series will be produced by Caviar and by Rogen and Goldberg through their overall deal with Lionsgate.

SHOWTIME has officially started production on I Love That For You, the half-hour comedy series starring and executive produced by Emmy nominee Vanessa Bayer, with Molly Shannon and Jenifer Lewis also leading the cast. Additional series regulars include Paul James, Ayden Mayeri, Matt Rogers and Punam Patel.

The film is based on the stage play of the same name that premiered at London’s Bridge Theatre, who were in the vanguard as one of the first theatres to reopen after closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Three-time Emmy nominee Molly Shannon (The Other Two) has signed on to star in the half-hour comedy pilot BIG DEAL, starring and executive produced by Emmy nominee Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live). If the project is picked up to series, Shannon would appear as a series regular. Bayer co-created BIG DEAL with Emmy nominee Jeremy Beiler (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer), who will also executive produce. Emmy winner Jessi Klein (Inside Amy Schumer, BLACK MONDAY, Big Mouth) will serve as showrunner and executive produce along with Michael Showalter (The Big Sick, Wet Hot American Summer, The Lovebirds), who will direct, as well as Annapurna's Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle and Jordana Mollick of Semi-Formal.
