Rita Ora, Marshawn Lynch and Jack O’Connell are set to join Joe Cole in the action thriller He Bled Neon from award-winning music video director Drew Kirsch. Written by Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson (Lowlife, Night Patrol) with a story by Nate Bolotin, the film will be Kirsch’s feature debut. The original story by Nate Bolotin was inspired by his early experiences growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada.   

Rogue Heroes is an account of the Special Air Service (SAS), was formed in the darkest days of World War II. The cast includes Connor Swindells (Sex Education, Vigil), Jack O’Connell (Skins, The North Water), Alfie Allen (Jojo Rabbit, Game of Thrones)  and Sofia Boutella (Modern Love, Atomic Blonde). SAS: Rogue Heroes is developed for television and written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Taboo, A Christmas Carol) and will be directed by Tom Shankland (The Serpent, The Missing), with Stephen Smallwood (The Serpent, Patrick Melrose) as producer. The series stars Connor Swindells, Jack O'Connell, Alfie Allen, Tom Glynn-Carney, and more.

Simon Reade's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's PRIVATE PEACEFUL will transfer to the West End.

Gina Torres has boarded romantic comedy THE HATING GAME, joining previously announced leads Lucy Hale and Robbie Amell. Peter Hutchings (THEN CAME YOU) will direct Christina Mengert's adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sally Thorne. The film is produced by Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra, and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures. Shooting starts in August in New York. Mister Smith Entertainment is co-financing and will handle sales. 

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

Hachette Audio is proud to announce that it is publishing Alphie McCourt's posthumous final collection, THE SOULSWIMMER, in April 2019, as an audiobook read by NYC-based performer Joe Hurley and others.
