The UK & Ireland Tour of Disney’s award-winning musical, THE LION KING, will welcome new cast members including Aphiwe Nyezi as ‘Simba’, Brian Gilligan as ‘Scar’ and Andre Jewson as ‘Zazu’, beginning on Tuesday 5 September 2023. 

The UK and Ireland Tour of Disney's The Lion King will welcome 12 new members to its cast of over 50 actors, singers and dancers this winter. The award winning landmark musical is currently playing a season at Manchester Palace until 11 March, where over 300,000 people will experience the show during the only North West dates.

The Walt Disney Company UK and Ireland and Manchester Theatres have announced on sale dates for a seven week extension of the musical THE LION KING, opening at the Palace Theatre later this year.

The full cast has been announced for the UK and Ireland tour of the landmark musical THE LION KING, including a first look at their new Simba played by Stephenson Ardern-Sodje.

What happens when you put singer Brian Gilligan with Ultitunes James Darcy; A critically acclaimed collaborative duo known as Medved Gilroy. Medved Gilroy, put together in July 2019, is the brainchild of Brian and James.

Citizens of Song -  Music Together From Afar, is a non-profit organisation which seeks to unite the world through song and support artists and the arts at this difficult time. Founder Rebecca Winckworth and her team are presenting the next concert a?oeMusic From London's West End Afara?? on August 9th at 8pm UK time or 3pm EDT.

Warwick Davis and Kevin Wood have announced that 'Star Wars' legend Mark Hamill as the voice of 'Kevin The Robot' in 'Eugenius! The Musical' which is currently playing for a strictly limited run at The Other Palace until 3 March 2018.

Bananaman, the Man-of-Peel, is flying out of the pages of much-loved comic Beano, and the hugely popular TV cartoon, in the world premiere of Bananaman the Musical, the hilarious new musical comedy by Leon Parris. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the company in rehearsal below!

Mark Perry is the founder of Sightline Entertainment and has worked as both an actor and director in the West End. This Christmas season, he is directing Bananaman the Musical, a farcical adaption of the comic and cartoon, at the Southwark Playhouse. A longtime fan of Bananaman, he is thrilled to be working with writer and composer Leon Paris on this hilarious original show.
