CASA 0101 Theater will present the World Premiere Play, CORINA:  FROM LAP DANCE TO SUNDANCE written by Corina Calderon, directed by Emmanuel Deleage, starring Corina Calderon in the title role, a story about her real life.

Casa 0101 Theater and Mexica Films present 'Light In The Darkness,' a story of young gang member's journey from self-destruction to self-realization. Written by Victor Tamayo and directed and adapted by Ramon 'Monxi' Flores, the play will be presented at the new Casa 0101 Theater, 2102 E. First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033. Pay What You Can Previews will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, September 4 and 5, 2013 at 8:00 p.m, followed by a four-week run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m., September 6 - 29, 2013. The American Premiere of 'The Imaginary Life of the Street Sweeper, August G.,' opened at Josefina López's ('Real Women Have Curves') Casa 0101 Theater on Friday, April 20, 2012 and runs through May 13.
