Winter Park Playhouse to Present PUTTING IT TOGETHER, 4/17-5/9

The Winter Park Playhouse concludes its popular 2014-2015 series of professional musical theatre with the upcoming Mainstage production, Putting It Together, April 17 - May 9. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:00 pm. Additional matinee performances include Sunday, April 26 and May 3 at 2:00 pm, Friday April 24 and Wednesday May 6 at 2:00 pm. A special "Third Thursday" performance is April 30 at 7:30 pm and the preview performance is Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 pm.

A hit Broadway musical revue, Putting It Together, is a humorous and sophisticated tribute to Stephen Sondheim's incomparable career as one of Broadway's greatest composers. This show features nearly 30 well loved Sondheim songs including selections from Into The Woods, Company, Follies, Sweeney Todd, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Merrily We Roll Along and more!

The New York Times states "Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Sondheim's favorites are sophisticatedly showcased..!" and London's The Telegraph calls it "fiercely nuanced and intelligently sexy".

Directed and choreographed by Roy Alan and music directed by Christopher Leavy, this production features an outstanding cast of professionals including returning talents, Natalie Cordone, Kevin Kelly, and Kate O'Neal, as well as newcomers to The Playhouse stage, Jonathan Fadoul and David Thome. The Playhouse trio will accompany with Mr. Leavy on the piano, Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments and Sam Forrest on percussion.

Ticket prices are: $38 evenings; $35 senior evenings; $28 all matinees; $25 "Third Thursday" evening, $20 industry professionals and students 25 years and under (with valid ID) and $18 preview performance. Student rush "$10@10" offers $10 tickets for students 25 years and under, 10 minutes prior to a performance when seats are available.
