In the 50s and 60s, melodic vocal harmonies dominated the airwaves. The Doo Wop scene produced many fantastic vocal groups that live on to this day. Four of which compose the lineup for Doo Wop Magic, which will be at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on January 25, 2013: The Brooklyn Bridge, JT Carter Originator of The Crests, The Del Satins, and Manhattan Harmony. Each group in Doo Wop Magic contributed significantly to the sound that defined an era of music which inspired so many. With songs like "The Worst That Could Happen," "Blessed Is The Rain" (The Brooklyn Bridge); "Teardrops Follow Me," "Feeling No Pain" (The Del Satins); "Beside You," "16 Candles" (The Crests); "Sincerely," "That Girl's Alright" (Manhattan Harmony), Doo Wop Magic is sure to evoke a nostalgic smile for time that will never be forgotten.

Tickets are priced from $10-$55. For more information, call the Box Office at 941-953-3368, or toll free 800-826-9303, or visit www.VanWezel.org
