SING! SING! SING!, the Great American Songbook Sing-In, assembles some of the greatest Broadway songs from musicals titled A through C in THE ABCs OF BROADWAY! - and you're invited to sing along on Tuesday, August 16 (2011) at 7 p.m. at The Triad in New York City.

Drawn from a list of 20 shows whose titles begin with "A" through "C", THE ABCs OF BROADWAY! will offer sing-out treatment to "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line, "My Heart Stood Still" from A Connecticut Yankee and nearly 20 other gems from Annie, Annie Get Your Gun, Babes in Arms, The Bandwagon, Bells Are Ringing, The Boys from Syracuse, Brigadoon, By Jupiter, Bye Bye Birdie, Cabaret, Cabin in the Sky, Camelot, Carousel, Chicago, and others.

Anne Phillips (piano, in keys suitable for men and women, and playing the melody) and Michael Shepley (anecdotes and chronology) don't perform for the audience ... they encourage the audience members to sing together. Lyrics are provided.

Here are what our audience members have had to say about past SING! SING! SING! evenings: "Great therapy! So uplifting," "Such a lovely night ... a gentle rally of spirits," and "I always leave feeling 100 percent better than when I walked in!"
