Brooklyn's preeminent voice and acting school has presented semester-ending concerts in an off-off Broadway venue for nearly 10 years, but this year the concert has turned into a new musical revue.

Klingle's Ghost, written by Jay Michaels, is a joyous send-up of old movies, Agatha Christie novels, and old movie serials ... with just a splash of Carol Burnett camp for fun ... all set to musical!

Aurelia Klingle - after a sojourn at an insane asylum returns to her mansion with a fiancée - thanks to the approval of the ghost of her first husband ... or so we think.

Klingle Manor is filled with wacky cinematic characters, aside from the batty Mrs. Klingle (Christine Conway) and her fiancée, former asylum administrator Winston Firefly (David Richards), there is Mrs. Chin, the mysterious Asian housekeeper (Emmy Pai) who harbors a secret regarding her and Aurelia's dead husband; Carson the lovesick social attaché (Andrew Gonzalez); Sister Negan, a mute nun (Brigid Drake); the dubiously charming girls of Aurelia's dubious charm school (Alinna Gonzalez and Ella Paturno) ... and Abercrombie, the aforementioned dead husband (Mario Claudio).

The madcap musical will be at the 13th Street Repertory Theater, 50 West 13th Street, today, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. Contact jmae.events@gmail.com for further information.

Mary Elizabeth Micari, founder of the M Center and its training system - the P.A.T.H. Method (Performing Arts Training Holistically) produced and musical directed the piece. Classical musician Mitchell Cheng is pianist.

This is the second year the M Center presented it finale at 13th Street. Mr. Michaels and Ms. Micari were the producers of the theatre's 50th anniversary production of LINE. Prior to this venue, the M Center were guests at 440 Studios and the Producers Club.
