Producer John Chatterton's Sweet 16th Year is taking bold steps to bring cutting-edge work to NYC. While October's line-up is still in process, John Chatterton has given the green-light to the Iran Saye Theatre's new work: THE MAN AND THE WORDS, which will make its world premiere in New York. The group - based in Iran - contacted Mr. Chatterton personally.

THE MAN AND THE WORDS concerns a lonely man seeking friendship in an inanimate object. But it doesn't stay inanimate for long. The show is written and directed by Mehdi Mashhour and performed by Golshad Moradi & Alexsander Kwanje. Benyamin Esbati serves as its artistic manager.

More than a dozen works by seasoned pros and gifted newcomers alike will also premiere at the October lab. Visit www.midtownfestival.org for TICKETS.
