George Salazar, currently performing in Godspell at the Circle in the Square Theater, will be joining the cast of Missed Connections for their opening night performance in the FRIGID New York Festival on Wednesday, February 22.

George had begun working with a group of fellow University of Florida alumni to come up with ideas for a show revolving postings from the infamous craigslist section, when responded to a "higher calling" to join the Godspell cast. He is excited to be able to perform the finished product, even if it is for only one night.

Making its festival debut this February, the timely comedy show Missed Connections: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics will be calling the East Village its home during FRIGID New York 2012. The up-and-coming Royanth Productions (associate producer of NYMF's award-winning Central Avenue Breakdown) brings audiences a core cast of four talented comedians. Using real postings from the infamous craigslist section, the group will dive headfirst into dozens of unique characters. With a variety of locations, intentions and grammar, Missed Connections is a show of endless hilarity. Previous performances were staged at The Producers Club, The Magnet Theater and The Brooklyn Lyceum (for the New York Times recognized UglyRhino). The show is performed by Jennifer Jean Anderson, Ricky Dunlop, Jake Mckenna and Lauren Roth. Tickets are available at SmartTix.com. Beer is available for purchase at KGB Bar within the venue.

Missed Connections will be playing the Kraine Theatre February 22nd through March 4th. For more information, visit www.missedconnectionsshow.com.
