DO RE MI (1960) has music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Garson Kanin wrote the libretto and directed the production. DO RE MI opened on December 26, 1960, and ran for 400 performances.

Hubie Cram (Patrick John Moran) is "endlessly scheming to win big." His long-suffering wife, Kay (Laura Daniel), urges him to "Take a Job" instead. But Hubie and three pals, Fitzo (Daniel Marcus), Brains (Roger Rifkin ) and Skin (Michael Scott ), try to enter the juke-box business ("It's Legitimate") and fail.

Along the way, Hubie discovers a singer, Tilda (Beth DeMichele) singing at an audition ("Cry Like the Wind"), and then advises her to have "Ambition".

By the end of the show, Tilda and her new beau John (Tyler Milliron), and Hubie and Kay realize that "Success" is achieved if they can "Make Someone Happy."

Singing and dancing and making the audience happy will be Timothy Allen, John Ambrosino, Anna Bucci, Corey Desjardins, David Demato, Lara Hayhurst, Whitney Meyer and Bruce Rebold.

Directed by Donald Brenner with music director David B. Bishop, Musicals Tonight! presents DO RE MI, running tonight, March 22, through April 3, 2016 at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street (between 9th & 10th avenues).
