A journey with Kjersti Alveberg across a dreamt ocean takes you from a world of fantasy to the exotic Babies of Babel, from the ‘other world’ portrayed in Spirits to a time of fables in Nett no!. Highlights from an outstanding career in choreography, both on stage and on screen, are woven together into a cohesive whole which also includes new works. The visual world greets you already in the foyer, where Alveberg’s long-term working partner, Knut Bry, is the man behind the installations and photos.

In addition to her stage productions, Kjersti Alveberg has created exceptional TV ballets that have won her awards in Norway and abroad. She was behind Norway’s contribution to the Olympics opening ceremony in Albertville. With her pioneering visuality, Kjersti Alveberg has opened the door to dance for many members of the public. Now we are throwing open the doors anew.
