Based upon the 1980 Alan Parker film, Fame Junior is described as :a feel-good, toe-tapping, high-energy smash of a musical that will leave you wanting to dance in cafeterias and on the tops of cars." This hit musical has been captivating audiences for over a decade and has been seen by over 4 million people since its West End premiere in 1995.

Set in New York’s High School for the Performing Arts or ‘P.A’ as it is more commonly known, it follows the journeys of a group of starry-eyed, ambitious young people who desire ‘fame’.  Performed by a talented group of teens and young adults at the Rhino, this abridged version will be presented June 2, 3, 9, 10, 2012.  Saturday shows are at 12 and 5pm and Sunday shows are at 2pm.   Ticket price is $18 for children and 22 for adults, plus tax.

Rhino Theatre is located at 247 Wanaque Ave., Pompton Lakes, NJ and the number to call for tickets is 973-248-9491. Please call the Rhino Theatre for more information or visit their website at www.smilingrhinotheatre.com
