This summer, Princeton Summer Theater returns to circle the globe and traverse the genres, fall in love and fall off bridges, conceal family scandals and expose the horrors of war. The 2013 Season presents a collection of tales of ordinary people leading extraordinary lives! As Mercer County's premiere summer repertory company for more than four decades, PST produces four mainstage shows, a children's play, and several children's workshops over 8 weeks annually in the intimate Hamilton Murray Theater on Princeton University's campus.

The 2013 season will begin with the heartwarming classic musical, She Loves Me, Directed by Sarah-Ashley Bischoff with book by Joe Masteroff, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick (tonight, June 20th-30th). Then comes Beth Henley's touching Mississippi family tragicomedy, Crimes of the Heart (July 4th-14th), directed by 2012 PST Artistic Director, Daniel Rattner. Hot on its heels is Patrick Barlow's thrilling and side-splitting Hitchcock spoof, The 39 Steps (July 18th-28th), directed by Jeff Kuperman. The season closes with Donald Margulies's recently Tony-nominated Iraq war story, Time Stands Still (August 1st-11th), directed by 2013 Artistic Director Emma Watt. Each play has its own unique style, but all offer a smattering of rich, lovable characters and some detestable villains that are sure to captivate the imagination.

PST will also continue its tradition of fun, affordable family programming, hosting its series of Friday afternoon Young Artist's Workshops for kids aged 6-12 as well as staging its annual Children's Show. This year's show is How Thumbelina Found her Wings, by Annika Bennett (July 4-6, 11-13, 25-27, August 1-3 and 8-10 at 11am). Tickets are $9, free for children under 3, and each performance is followed by an autograph session when the kids can meet their favorite characters! Information on ticket purchases for Thumbelina and registration for the workshops can be found on the PST website, www.princetonsummertheater.org.

Mainstage performances run Thursday-Saturday of each week at 8pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 for students.
