Luna Stage, in association with No.11 Productions, is offering a free creative workshop for high school students around the topic of bullying.

In December of 2011, New Jersey passed the most aggressive anti-bullying law in the country. In January, Luna Stage will partner with No.11 Productions to offer a two-day workshop for high school students focused on the topic of bullying. Through theatre games and free writing exercises, workshop participants will have an active voice in exploring this complicated issue. Guided by professional theatre artist, students will work together to develop solutions to bullying while learning effective conflict resolution and developing the tools to build a greater sense of self-worth and community.

The Puffin Foundation generously funds the workshop. There is no fee for the workshop, but space is limited!

The workshop will take place on two consecutive Sundays in January. The schedule is as follows:
Sunday, January 13th: 5pm-8pm Ensemble Building/Free Writing Workshop;
Sunday, January 20th: 11am-5:30pm workshop, 7pm presentation for invited audience.

All workshop sessions will be held at Luna Stage, 555 Valley Road, West Orange, NJ. For further information or to register for the workshop: Email info@lunastage.org or call 973-395-5551.
