The collapse of the historic Grand Theatre in Williamstown, NJ, on May 14, 2010 was a tragedy for theatre-goers all over the Delaware Valley. It was devastating for The Road Company, its resident theatre group and owner, but it also hit the South Jersey community theatre family with a significant impact - the "home" as the many volunteers, actors and actresses once held close to their hearts, was gone. When it was announced that The Road Company would take the initiative to rebuild the Grand Theatre, the South Jersey theatre community decided to join forces and help its fellow theatre group, The Road Company.

The Road Company is a non-profit organization founded in 1976. Its home was the beautiful and historic Grand Theatre, built in 1924. Since its inception, The Road Company has grown to produce six main stage productions each year and strives to bring quality theatrical entertainment to the thriving South Jersey Community. With the collapse of the Grand Theatre, The Road Company is working diligently to raise funds through the "Make it Grand Again Campaign" to help offset the costs of rebuilding what was once a beautiful, historical theatre.
